Bright, lightfast, washfast colors for silk, wool, feathers, nylon
Directions: Washing machine – Set to hottest temperature and lowest level to cover fabric. Add dye and agitate well. Add fabric and ¼ cup vinegar. Let run through cycle. Stove-top – For wool yarn or small dye lots. Contents will dye approximately 2 pounds of fiber. Prewash. Use about 2 gallons of water for 1 pound of fiber. Mix dye into hot water. Heat to near boil. Add fiber. Stir for 30 minutes. Let cool. Rinse in warm water.
